Condx have been very difficult and the only band openings so far here has been on 17 meters between about 1700UTC and 2000UTC. Thanks for staying on 17m SSB on 24 Sept and working only NA and SA. That gave many of us in the Central USA and West Coast USA a chance. I finally worked you at 1937 UTC on 17m SSB. Thanks and 73 Roger K5RKS

Congrats on a great job under difficult conditions. You have given me 4 of the 5 band countries I needed towards the DX Challenge plus a new one on RTTY. I am still hoping for a 12 meter qso. The 160 was especially a great thrill. W4DR

I just want to say that I think you guys are doing a GREAT JOB. I know that I would not have the skill nor the patience to be on your end of the pile-ups! Best of luck with your operation. Keep up the excellent work and have a safe trip home. 73, Brad, N9EN Radio Free Roscoe (IL)

Thanks for doing such a nice job of getting into so many logs. After 52 years of ham radio, I had one 20M SSB QSO with /G before your expedition. Now, have CW and 5 more bands. Looking for RTTY, 12M and 160M. Keep up the good work - hope you can stay until October 5. 73 Ken K5KC

This is in reply to the news about the DXpedition ops having to repeat call signs to get a confirmation. I agree, some aren't listening. But along with that, with weak signals and fast QSB, it's difficult to hear at times. But I believe the number one reason ops aren't responding to their calls is the unnecessary QRM. When someone puts on a carrier, or some other garbage when you return their call, it's difficult for ops to hear their call. I've noticed QRM coming from the direction of Europe when you call for NA only. And as soon as you start taking EU calls, it goes away. I'm not blaming all ops in Europe for this, just a few. I believe most ops in Europe are ashamed of these individuals, as we are of ours in the states. I believe the ones in Europe doing this are hoping you will go back to working them if you can't work the US. The ones in the states don't need a reason to QRM. They do it because they are jerks and that's just what they do. Either way, it's childish behavior from those who grew up in body, but not in mind. As the QRM dies down toward the final weeks, you should notice a much better response when you return operator's calls. Anyway, thanks for going there to put this rare one on the air. Stay safe, and have a safe trip home.
